Ameriprise Financial Inc., Minneapolis, added four index funds managed by BlackRock to the investment options lineup of its 401(k) plan.
The plan in 2019 added the BlackRock Equity Index Fund, BlackRock MSCI ACWI ex-U.S. Index Fund, BlackRock Russell 2500 Index Fund and BlackRock U.S. Debt Index Fund to the lineup.
The funds had $173 million, $8 million, $5 million and $5 million in assets in the plan, respectively, as of Dec. 31, according to an 11-K filing Thursday with the SEC.
Also during 2019, the plan removed the Columbia Trust Large Cap Index Fund, managed by Columbia Threadneedle Investments.
That fund had $134 million in assets in the plan as of Dec. 31, 2018, according to Ameriprise's prior 11-K filing.
The new filing did not provide a reason for the change.
As of Dec. 31, the Ameriprise Financial 401(k) Plan had $2.3 billion in assets, according to the new 11-K filing. As of that same date, the plan had 16 individual investment options, a common stock fund and a target-date fund lineup managed by Voya Investment Management.
Ameriprise Financial spokesman John Brine could not be immediately reached for further information.
