Allen, Texas, is searching for a record keeper for its $14 million 457 plan.
The city is seeking a firm to provide record keeping, plan administration and participant education services for the 457 plan, according to an RFP posted on the city's procurement website.
The current record keeper is ICMA-RC. Whether the firm is eligible to rebid could not be immediately learned. Though the RFP states the firm was notified Dec. 17 that the city would "move on," an addendum published Wednesday said the city has not elected to move on from the firm.
The RFP is available on the city's procurement website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. CST on Jan. 28. A selection is expected on Feb. 26.
Ellen Ataie, contracts administrator for the city, could not be immediately reached for further information.
