Allegheny County Employees' Retirement System, Pittsburgh, is searching for an investment consultant for the $930 million defined benefit plan.
The search is being conducted "because an RFP has not been issued for a while and the board would like to review their options," said Walter Szymanski, manager for the fund, in an email. Wilshire Associates is the current consultant and is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on the county's website. Proposals are due 4:30 p.m. EDT on Oct. 18. A selection is expected to be made by Dec. 19.
