Albemarle County Public Schools, Charlottesville, Va., is searching for record keepers for its $42 million 403(b) plan.
The county's school board is seeking up to two firms to provide investment, record keeping, administration and communication services for the schools' 403(b) plan, according to an RFP posted on the county's procurement website.
The RFP did not say whether all current firms are invited to rebid for consolidated service. It did say that the school board would "explore single vendor and one-of-two vendor scenarios."
The RFP is available on the county's procurement website. Proposals are due by 3 p.m. EST on Jan. 18. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
Lisa Thomas, buyer for the county's office of procurement, could not be immediately reached for further information.
