Alameda County Employees' Retirement Association, Oakland, Calif., committed up to $35 million to Vista Foundation Fund IV.
The $8.2 billion pension fund's board approved the commitment to the small-cap buyout fund managed by Vista Equity Partners at its meeting Wednesday, said Agnes Ducanes, administrative specialist, in an email.
As of March 31, the actual allocation to private equity was 6.1%; the target is 9%.
