Alabama Retirement Systems, Montgomery, is searching for an actuarial consultant.
The $41.4 billion retirement system issued an RFP to provide a "range of actuarial consulting services" for the four pension funds that make up the system, according to an RFP posted on the system's website.
According to the system's most recent comprehensive annual financial report, Cavanaugh MacDonald Consulting is the incumbent consultant. Whether the firm is invited to rebid could not be immediately learned.
The RFP is available on the system's website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. CST on Feb. 16. A selection is expected March 5.
