Adtalem Global Education Inc., Chicago, added two index funds managed by Fidelity Investments to the investment options lineup of its 401(k) plan in 2020.
As of Dec. 31, the Fidelity Mid Cap Index Fund and Fidelity International Index Fund had $10 million and $9 million, respectively, in assets of the plan, according to the company's 11-K filing with the SEC on June 24.
A comparison of this year's and last year's 11-K filings shows the plan removed the Vanguard Mid-Cap Index Fund and Causeway International Value Fund from the lineup in 2020.
As of Dec. 31, 2019, the passive domestic midcap equity fund managed by Vanguard Group and the active international value equity fund managed by Causeway Capital Management each had $10 million in assets in the plan, according to the prior 11-K filing.
The new 11-K filing did not provide a reason for the changes.
As of Dec. 31, the Adtalem Global Education Retirement Plan had $502 million in assets, according to the company's 11-K filing.
