Cook County Annuity & Benefit Fund and the Cook County Forest Preserve District Employees’ Annuity & Benefit Fund, both based in Chicago, rehired Callan as investment consultant.
The board of the pension funds, which have a combined $11.3 billion in assets, voted at its Sept. 3 meeting to rehire Callan following an RFP process, recently released meeting minutes show.
The board issued an RFP in February. There were two other finalists, but the names of those firms were not available.
