Malaysia's CIMB-Principal restructures firm

Malaysia-based CIMB-Principal Asset Management has reorganized its Malaysian, Thai and Islamic funds operations. Pedro Borda, previously Principal Financial Group's Mexico head, recently took over as CEO of the firm, replacing Campbell Tupling. Meanwhile, Ramlie Kamsari was appointed as CEO of CIMB-Principal Islamic Asset Management, succeeding Noripah Kamso, who retired from the position. In addition, Jumpon Saimala, former chief executive of ING Funds Thailand, will be named head of CIMBPrincipal's Thailand operations.
