Solicitation for an Investment
Advisory Council Member


The Alaska Retirement Management Board (ARMB) is issuing an extension to the solicitation of applications from interested individuals to serve on the board’s Investment Advisory Council (Council).

This extension is until Tuesday, June 18, 2019 and the application must be received before 4:30 p.m. Alaska Time or it will not be considered. The selected candidate shall possess experience and expertise in financial investments and management of investment portfolios for public, corporate or union pension benefit funds, foundations or endowments. Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of ten years’ experience as a manager/director or trustee of a pension or public fund of $10 billion or more in market value. The initial term of this position will be for three years. Subject to approval of ARMB, member may be reappointed for a second three-year term.
