Andy Marshall was named chief commercial officer at London-based retirement financial technology firm Smart.
It is a new position, and Marshall is responsible for sales and commercial activities. He works closely with Jamie Fiveash, CEO of Smart Pension — the roughly £6 billion ($7.8 billion) U.K. workplace retirement plan, and Andrew Evans, global CEO at Smart, and is tasked with expanding the firm’s Keystone technology platform and further growing the retirement plan in the U.K.
“This appointment is a crucial piece of our strategic plans, ensuring we meet and exceed our ambitious performance-led targets and bolstering growth plans already in place for Keystone and Smart Pension,” Evans said in a news release. “Andy’s experience in leading large teams and businesses combined with his extensive tech and commercial background will be an incredible asset to Smart as we grow, supporting our mission to help transform retirement, savings and financial well-being across generations around the world.”
Smart operates in the U.K., the U.S., Europe, the Middle East and Asia, and has more than £10 billion in assets on its Keystone technology platform.
Marshall was CEO of the software division of residential property firm Houseful.
