Andrew Thomas was named head of investment strategy and Sally Cobb was appointed head of capital markets at REST Super in Sydney, effective Monday.
Both positions are new, a spokeswoman for the Sydney-based, A$60 billion ($45.6 billion) superannuation fund said.
Mr. Thomas reports to Andrew Lill, REST's chief investment officer.
He was head of client portfolio solutions at BlackRock, the REST spokeswoman said. A BlackRock spokeswoman could not immediately be reached for comment.
Ms. Cobb was a consultant for AustralianSuper, the Melbourne-based super fund with more than A$200 billion in retirement assets, and REST, and before that she was a senior principal (investments) at Mercer, the REST spokeswoman said.
