Annette Grabow, retirement plan manager for Sonepar USA, has received the Plan Sponsor Council of America's lifetime achievement award.
"Annette's belief in the importance of defined contribution plans has provided her participants a best-in-class experience for their financial future and has demonstrated to the industry a best practice in how to be a plan sponsor," said Will Hansen, PSCA's executive director, in a Friday PSCA news release.
The award was presented May 4 at the PSCA national conference in Orlando, Fla.
"In the past 30 years, Annette has done more than anyone associated with defined contribution plans to showcase plan sponsor commitment to helping employees become retirement ready through leading-edge and time-tested workplace education and communication strategies," Tony Verheyen, former PSCA executive director, said in the news release.
Previous recipients include Phyllis Borzi, former Assistant Secretary of Labor and head of the Employee Benefits Security Administration; Robert C. Merton, the distinguished professor of finance at the MIT Sloan School of Management; Cindy Hounsell, president of the Women's Institute for a Secure Retirement; and Nancy K.
