Scott Ramey was promoted to leader of retirement plans distribution within the retirement plans business at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co., overseeing distribution for both public and private sectors, spokesman Joe Case said.
Mr. Ramey will report to Eric Stevenson, his predecessor in the distribution job, who recently was promoted to president of the retirement plans business, a news release said. Mr. Ramey had been vice president of growth and retention for public-sector distribution.
"Scott has demonstrated the ability to execute strategies and build deep relationships that open new distribution opportunities, improve retention and produce top- and bottom-line results," Mr. Stevenson said in a news release.
