Brian Collins has joined Hub International as chief investment officer of HUB Retirement and Private Wealth, Hub spokeswoman Jenna Shields confirmed in an email.
The position is new. Mr. Collins is based in Chicago and reports to Joe DeNoyior, national president of HUB Retirement and Private Wealth.
As chief investment officer, Mr. Collins will be responsible for Hub Retirement and Private Wealth's investment platforms, "focusing on building strategic advisory solutions and offerings that continue Hub RPW's growth," the news release said.
Mr. Collins was most recently with Harbor Capital Advisors as executive vice president and CIO, responsible for building its institutional investment platform.
A spokesman from Harbor Capital didn't immediately respond to an email inquiry about Mr. Collins' replacement.
