Insurance broker Hub International has acquired retirement plan consulting firm Aegis Retirement Group.
Terms of the deal, which closed June 1, were not disclosed, according to a news release Thursday.
The acquisition of the Memphis, Tenn.-based firm adds 75 plan sponsors with about $500 million in assets under management to Hub's client roster, a Hub spokeswoman said.
As part of the transaction, Aegis founder and President Walter Grant will join Hub Retirement and Private Wealth in Hub Mid-South.
The transaction follows a string of acquisitions Hub made this year, including most recently Epstein Financial Services, an East Longmeadow, Mass.-based registered investment adviser firm it purchased in June.
Hub has been acquiring retirement-services firms since 2017, in a push to bolster its retirement plan and wealth management business.
