Jordan Kraiten will join Cbus Super, Melbourne, as its head of infrastructure, the fund said in a statement Oct. 19.
He joins in 2024 and will take over duties previously held by Alexandra Campbell who was promoted to deputy CIO of the fund focused on employees in Australia's construction and building sectors in September.
"With the strategic aim of managing over 50% of our assets internally, Jordan's appointment provides a dedicated resource to lead our high caliber infrastructure team as we optimize the portfolio and drive greater value from both new and existing assets, both locally and globally," Campbell said in the statement.
Cbus had A$85 billion ($56.2 billion) in assets as of June 30.
Kraiten joins from Hostplus, Melbourne, where he led the A$103.2 billion fund's infrastructure portfolio for 11 years. Before that, he was employed at Macquarie Bank in several locations, including Sydney, Houston and New York.
Hostplus did not immediately respond to a query about his replacement.
