Alexandra Campbell will leave Cbus Super, Melbourne, at the end of June, after four years with the A$85 billion ($56.2 billion) fund, a spokesperson confirmed.
Details on her future plans were not available.
Campbell was promoted to deputy chief investment officer in September after three years at the fund. She joined Cbus in 2020 as head of infrastructure, and was promoted to head of private markets in 2022 before taking over the role of deputy CIO.
Her promotion in 2023 was part of Cbus’ reshuffling of leadership positions after former chief executive officer Justin Arter retired in May. Former CIO Kristian Fok was promoted to CEO and Brett Chatfield was promoted to CIO from deputy CIO.
“Throughout her time at Cbus, Alexandra made an incredible contribution to the fund by leading the private markets team and driving portfolio performance, as well as overseeing the overall investment function,” the spokesperson said.
“We are disappointed to be losing someone of Alexandra’s caliber and sincerely wish her all the best in her future endeavors,” he added.
Information about her replacement was not provided.
