Cbus Super, Melbourne, formally appointed Bernie Dean as its chief strategy officer, the A$94 billion ($63.9 billion) fund said in a statement on Oct. 31.
In the role, he leads the strategy and corporate affairs functions at the fund and replaces Alexander West who left the fund in 2023 after less than a year in the role.
Dean joins from Industry Super Australia, where he was been chief executive for six years. Industry Super Australia manages programs for seven industry funds to help retain and attract members. The firm did not immediately respond to a request for information about Dean's replacement.
