Louise Williamson was named head of master trust at retirement and insurance firm Aviva.
Williamson replaced Suzanne Rose, who had been with Aviva since 2018 and head of the master trust since June 2022. Rose joined Mercer as U.K. defined contribution leader.
Williamson reports to Emma Douglas, director of workplace savings and retirement at Aviva.
Williamson said: "I'm thrilled to be leading Aviva's master trust team and I'm looking forward to bringing my governance expertise to this important role at one of the top five master trusts by assets."
Williamson was head of governance at Smart Pension. Details on any replacement were not immediately available.
The Aviva Master Trust, London had £9.1 billion ($11.1 billion) in assets as of Sept. 30.
Aviva also said Geoff Marchment was promoted to a new role as head of master trust development at Aviva, reporting to Douglas. Marchment was business development director within Aviva's workplace pensions business, and his new role will be focused on building relationships within the market.
