Industry superannuation fund HESTA, Melbourne, appointed Sophie Jelleff to be its new head of investment execution, effective April 8, the fund said in a statement on March 13.
In the role, Jelleff will work closely with the executive and investment management teams to lead the fund's investment execution strategies. HESTA manages A$82 billion ($54.3 billion) in assets.
She succeeds Gerard Brown, who left HESTA in 2023, a spokesperson confirmed.
Jelleff joins the fund from Citi, where she was the head of security services operations at Citi Australia & New Zealand. Alex Anastasopoulos, head of operations and technology, has taken on her responsibilities on an interim basis, a Citi spokesperson said.
