Anusha Rasalingam, a partner at law firm Friedman & Anspach, will serve as the council’s vice chair.
The council's new appointees, who will each serve three-year terms, are:
- Christian Benjaminson, a vice president and principal consulting actuary at Cheiron.
- Wendell Young, president of United Food and Commercial Workers Local 1776 Keystone State and vice president of the UFCW International Union.
- Jay Dorsch, chair of the employee benefits and executive compensation practice at law firm Cozen O’Connor.
- Elizabeth Hopkins, a senior partner at law firm Kantor & Kantor and head of the law firm’s pension practice.
- Craig Wright, a founding partner at investment advisory firm Strategic Financial.
“The ERISA Advisory Council plays an invaluable role advising the Department of Labor on important issues,” said Lisa M. Gomez, assistant secretary for employee benefits security, in a news release. “We look forward to the contributions of the new members and are thankful for the extensive expertise and experience they will bring to the council, and we thank the outgoing members for their time, service and contributions to the work of the council.”
