Larissa Belova has joined UBS Asset Management as CIO and portfolio manager of U.S. direct real estate, which is a new position, spokesperson Zarna Patel said.
Belova will help expand the business in the U.S and work closely with the wider team to manage U.S. direct real estate portfolios. She reports to Matthew Johnson, head of real estate Americas.
Belova had been a managing director and portfolio manager of the CBRE Investment Management’s flagship diversified open-end core fund. Elisabeth Troni was promoted in September to take over that role for Belova, who left CBRE on Dec. 27 after assisting with the transition, spokesman Josh Stoffregen-Foye said.
