Sarah Cockburn was named head of Schroders' real estate capital partners business, a spokeswoman confirmed via email.
She replaces Graeme Rutter, who left the company.
Effective Jan. 6, Ms. Cockburn will be responsible for managing the firm's £4 billion ($5.2 billion) indirect real estate business. She will also join the firm's indirect investment committee and report to Nick Montgomery, head of U.K. real estate investment.
Ms. Cockburn was executive director at PGIM. A spokeswoman for the firm could not be immediately reached for additional comment.
