Two executives from GI Partners have joined alternative investment firm Pantheon to lead its new real estate investment business, spokesman Ashley Wassall confirmed in an email.
Roman Braslavsky was named partner and head of real estate at Pantheon, and David Elliott was named managing director within the new business. The positions are new.
Messrs. Braslavsky and Elliott be responsible for launching the firm's new real estate investment strategy, which will initially focus on secondaries opportunities. They will be based in New York and report to Kathryn Leaf, partner in Pantheon's global infrastructure and real assets team, of which this new business is being developed as an extension.
Mr. Braslavsky was a managing director at GI Partners, while Mr. Elliott was a principal at the middle-market private investment firm. A company spokesman was not immediately able to provide additional information.
