Christopher Lankin and Julian Neave have joined Cadillac Fairview's London team as managing director and director, respectively.
Jenny Hammarlund, Cadillac Fairview's managing director and head of Europe, wrote in a memo Sept. 29 that "Chris and Julian will play critical roles in continuing to build out and manage Cadillac Fairview's European investment portfolio across life sciences, office, residential and logistics."
A spokeswoman for Cadillac Fairview confirmed by email that these are two newly created positions.
Cadillac Fairview is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, Toronto. OTPP had net assets of C$242.5 billion ($188.3 billion) as of June 30.
Mr. Lankin was formerly at the New York office of Oxford Properties Group, where he served as a "key member of Oxford's U.S. senior management team," the memo stated. Further details on his position at Oxford could not be learned.
Oxford is itself owned by the C$119.5 billion Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System, Toronto, according to Oxford's website.
Mr. Neave was formerly an equity partner at Quadrant Estates in London, where he "led the office investment and development team," the memo added.
Cadillac Fairview manages more than C$35 billion of assets across the Americas and the U.K., according to its website.
