Carmel Hourigan will join Sydney-based real estate investment and funds management firm Charter Hall Group later this year as CEO of its office business.
Ms. Hourigan will replace Adrian Taylor. A Charter Hall news release said Mr. Taylor is leaving to pursue other opportunities. He could not immediately be reached for comment.
Ms. Hourigan will oversee the investment management, asset management, development and property management teams for the firm's A$19 billion ($13.2 billion) office business.
She will join from AMP Capital, where she was global head of real estate. A spokeswoman for AMP Capital said Ms. Hourigan will "work through a transition" and that no date has yet been set for her departure. A search process to fill the role has begun, she said.
