Robbie Epsom was appointed Europe, Middle East and Africa head of ESG at CBRE Global Investors, a spokeswoman said.
The position is new. Mr. Epsom is responsible for environmental, social and governance integration across the EMEA business, reporting to Aleksandra Njagulj, global head of ESG.
"Robbie joins us at an exciting time as we enter the next stage in expansion of our global sustainable real assets investment management strategy. His extensive experience and impressive track record mean that he is well-positioned for the newly created role as it increasingly becomes a top priority for our real assets investors, our tenants and is fundamental to our business to driving long-term outperformance. We very much look forward to working with him," Ms. Njagulj said in a news release Wednesday.
CBRE Global Investors had $114.5 billion in assets under management as of Sept. 30.
Mr. Epsom was associate director within the sustainability advisory services arm of environmental consultancy WSP Global. Details of his replacement were not available.
