CBRE Global Investors appointed two new executives in an expansion of its credit business, a spokeswoman confirmed.
Michelle Liu was named managing director and senior originator in the Americas.
The role is new. Based in New York, Ms. Liu is focused on deploying capital on behalf of the firm's Americas credit division.
"Michelle's proven ability to build and harvest relationships with borrowers and brokers and to originate mortgage loans across asset classes and geographies represents an important extension of our core competencies," Todd Sammann, head of Americas credit division, said in a news release Wednesday.
Ms. Liu worked as a director at CIT Bank.
The firm also named Isabelle Brennan as global investor solutions officer.
Ms. Brennan replaced Nick Hill. The spokeswoman did not comment on Mr. Hill's departure reasons or his next appointment.
Based in London, Ms. Brennan focuses on the marketing of real estate and infrastructure strategies to investors in the U.K. and Ireland.
"We are excited to leverage Isabelle's deep knowledge of real assets, particularly her experience in credit to help deliver solutions to our investors," Bernie McNamara, global head of investor solutions, said in the release.
Ms. Brennan was a director of real estate finance at M&G Investments. She was replaced by Tom Heather, an M&G spokeswoman said.
