Christina Iacoucci, managing partner and portfolio manager, was promoted to Canadian chief investment officer at real estate manager BentallGreenOak, a subsidiary of Toronto-based Sun Life Financial.
Ms. Iacoucci retains her portfolio manager duties at BentallGreenOak and will continue to manage the C6.9 billion ($5.5 billion) Canadian real estate portion of Sun Life's C$177.9 billion general account, said Nicole Stenclik, a BGO spokeswoman, in an email.
Ms. Iacoucci replaces Paul Zemla as Canadian CIO. He left BGO in 2019, a Sun Life news release said.
Sun Life Financial had C$1.25 trillion of assets under management as of Dec. 31.
New York-based BentallGreenOak managed $56 billion as of the same date.
