Christina Iacoucci has been named to the newly created role of head of Canada at real estate manager BentallGreenOak, while retaining her title as Canadian chief investment officer, a BGO spokesperson confirmed.
Based in Toronto, Iacoucci, who is also a managing partner, will continue her leadership of the firm's Canadian investment management business with "expanded responsibility for the firm's property management and leasing services business in Canada, comprising over 400 properties and 62 million square feet across the country," said a Jan. 8 news release.
BGO had about $81 billion in assets under management as of Sept. 30, 2023.
BGO is a unit of SLC Management, the institutional alternatives and traditional asset management business of Sun Life Financial, which had C$1.34 trillion ($992 billion) in assets under management as of Sept. 30.
