Kylie O'Connor was appointed head of real estate at AMP Capital, a spokeswoman confirmed.
Ms. O'Connor replaced Carmel Hourigan, who joined Charter Hall as CEO of its office business.
The team manages more than A$28 billion ($19.9 billion) in commercial real estate across equity and debt strategies. Ms. O'Connor reports to CEO Boe Pahari and joins the AMP Capital leadership group, a news release said.
"Kylie is a great leader, and her promotion is testament to the strong talent within AMP Capital's real estate team," Mr. Pahari said in the news release. "Highly regarded by our clients, our team and within the industry, she's ready to lead the next phase of growth for our real estate business."
Ms. O'Connor was chief operating officer and managing director of separate accounts at AMP Capital. Luke Briscoe, managing director, office and logistics, replaces Ms. O'Connor in those roles, the spokeswoman said.
