Filtering in Pensions & Investments' news-based databases, including in Searches and Hires, and Private Fund Close, was recently enhanced. Key changes include the addition of breadcrumbs — a navigation aid that shows a user's location in a website — shareable URLs and significantly faster database speeds when filtering.
When a filter is applied, breadcrumbs will be shown at the top of the screen. For instance, when looking at various credit funds, the database shows all asset class "Credit'' or "Real estate debt" has been applied.
The database now easily allows a user to share a specific filtered result. For instance, if one wanted to share all direct hedge fund hires and terminations over the previous five years, one only has to copy and paste the URL.
The "CLEAR ALL" button will reset the database, by removing all applied filters.
