Monica Chase has joined private equity firm TSG Consumer Partners as head of investor relations, which is a new position, a spokesperson said.
Chase will oversee TSG's global investor relations initiatives and lead investor engagement. She had been head of investor relations for North America at alternative investment firm Permira.
"She (Chase) is a highly regarded and seasoned investor relations professional with proven leadership ability and a deep network of relationships," said Jamie O'Hara, president of TSG, in a news release.
Permira's team has taken over the investor relations duties and "will determine their plan for longer term coverage in due course," a Permira spokeswoman said.
