Donna Riley Bebb was named director, head of ESG at private equity manager Thoma Bravo.
It is a new position, a spokeswoman said in an email. Ms. Bebb reports to Jennifer James, managing director, chief operating officer and head of investor relations and marketing at Thoma Bravo.
Ms. Bebb will be responsible for leading and expanding Thoma Bravo's existing ESG initiatives, and she will also work with investment teams to assess ESG-related opportunities and risk throughout the investment cycle. Ms. Bebb will also serve as a strategic adviser to Thoma Bravo's portfolio companies on best-practice implementation.
She was previously head of global credit and ESG at Google, where she oversaw $56 billion in corporate cash and designed an investment-grade ESG strategy.
As of March 31, Thoma Bravo had $114 billion in assets under management.
