Silver Lake held a final close on Silver Lake Partners VII at $20.5 billion in capital commitments, exceeding its prior flagship fund, said a May 8 release.
Silver Lake raised approximately $20 billion for Silver Lake Partners VI in January 2021 and over the past five years has raised $47 billion.
Investors in Silver Lake Partners VII include the $76 billion Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association, Pasadena; the $26.3 billion Teachers’ Retirement System of Louisiana, Baton Rouge; the $19.7 billion South Dakota Investment Council, Sioux Falls; and the $18.5 billion Ohio School Employees Retirement System, Columbus.
Silver Lake has approximately $102 billion in combined assets under management and committed capital.
