Bogdan Cenanovic has joined PSG Equity as a managing director.
Mr. Cenanovic will “work with the team to enhance PSG’s presence in Canada,” a spokeswoman said in an email.
He will also lead underwriting for PSG’s Encore strategy, which is “primarily focused on making investments in select PSG portfolio companies upon their complete or partial exit from PSG’s funds in order to support their growth for a longer period,” a news release noted.
Mr. Cenanovic will report to Peter Wilde, co-founder and chairman of PSG, and Mark Hastings, co-founder and CEO, the release added.
Based in Boston, PSG is a growth equity firm investing in software and technology-enabled services companies. PSG has raised more than $10 billion in total capital.
Mr. Cenanovic was formerly at the C$242.5 billion ($188.3 billion) Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, Toronto, where he served as managing director and global group sector head, PSG noted in the release. At OTPP, he led investments in the technology, media and telecom, financial services and health-care sectors, PSG added.
