Adam Marcus has joined Providence Strategic Growth Capital Partners, the growth equity business of Providence Equity Partners, in a new position, according sources with knowledge of the situation.
Mr. Marcus will help Providence Strategic Growth Capital Partners to expand its business of investing in lower middle-market software and technology-enabled service companies, a news release said. Mr. Marcus reports to CEO Mark Hastings.
Neither Kelsey Markovich nor Hayley Cook, both spokeswomen for Providence Strategic Growth Capital Partners, could be reached for further information, including Mr. Marcus' title.
Mr. Marcus had been a partner at venture capital firm OpenView Venture Partners, investing in software and technology-enabled businesses. Scott Maxwell, OpenView founding partner could not immediately reached for comment about Mr. Marcus' replacement.
