Angelos Dassios was named chief investment officer of private equity manager Paine Schwartz Partners, according to a news release Wednesday.
Mr. Dassios has been a partner with the firm since its inception in 2002.
Paine Schwartz Partners manages sustainable food chain funds, the most recent of which — Paine Schwartz Food Chain Fund V — closed at $1.4 billion in September.
A spokesman did not immediately provide further information on whether the position is new.
