Edouard Boscher has joined money manager Carmignac as head of private equity to oversee operations, according to a news release.
Boscher's duties include overseeing the firm's recent partnership with private equity secondary-market manager Clipway, a new private equity firm formed by former executives from Ardian, Coller Capital and the $253.2 billion New York City Retirement Systems. He will also be in charge of Carmignac's investments in new private equity firms, including Cap10 Partners, a pan-European middle market private firm.
Boscher is based in Paris and reports to Maxime Carmignac, CEO and director of Carmignac UK.
Boscher had been chief operating officer for the investor relations department at Ardian.
Florian Kluge is serving as chief operating officer of investor relations at Ardian, an Ardian spokeswoman said. Kluge, an investor relations managing director, had been co-head of investor relations for Europe. Jan Philipp Schmitz is Ardian's global head of investor relations.
