Stephen Madsen has been named a managing director and head of business development at middle-market private equity firm Blue Wolf Capital.
It is a new position, and Madsen will report to Jeremy Kogler, managing partner, said a spokesperson for Blue Wolf.
Madsen will be responsible for "identifying unique investment opportunities, coordinating with the senior investment team to source high-potential deals and managing the intermediary selection process for portfolio company transactions," said a news release Sept. 20.
Madsen most recently was head of business development at Monomoy Capital Partners, a middle-market private equity firm. Monomoy could not be immediately reached for further details.
Blue Wolf has $2.9 billion in assets under management.
