Iain Leigh, managing director and global head of private equity for APG Asset Management, announced plans to leave the company at the end of the year, spokeswoman Jennifer Bainbridge confirmed in an email.
Effective Jan. 1, Mr. Leigh will be replaced by senior managers Greg Jania, head of fund investments, and Ken Bloomberg, head of co-investments.
Messrs. Jania and Bloomberg will retain their current duties and also become managing directors and join the APG Asset Management US executive board.
Mr. Leigh plans to stay involved in the private equity industry in a non-executive capacity, Ms. Bainbridge said.
