Todd Solash, president, individual retirement at AIG Life & Retirement, and Robert Scheinerman, president, AIG Retirement Services, have been named CEOs of their respective businesses, AIG Life & Retirement said Monday.
The promotions were announced in conjunction with the retirement of Jana Greer as president and CEO of retirement.
Messrs. Solash and Scheinerman, who had reported to Ms. Greer, assumed their new positions Monday, reporting directly to Kevin Hogan, executive vice president and CEO, AIG Life & Retirement.
Ms. Greer announced her retirement earlier this year and worked on the transition with Messrs. Solash and Scheinerman, an AIG news release said.
"Jana has strived to help Americans reach their retirement goals for over four decades, and her passionate leadership has had a profound impact on our company and society," Mr. Hogan said in the news release. "Todd and Rob have done a terrific job for our retirement businesses, and we look forward to their continued progress developing innovative retirement solutions to meet the needs of our clients."
Mr. Solash joined AIG in 2017 as president, individual retirement. He is based in Woodland Hills, Calif., the headquarters of the individual retirement business.
Mr. Scheinerman joined AIG in 2003 and has been president of AIG Retirement Services — the company's group retirement business — since 2017. He is based in Houston, where the business is headquartered.
