Scott Lupkas is no longer vice president of investments at Yale New Haven Health System, confirmed a spokesperson for the healthcare system.
The spokesperson declined to provide any further details, citing that they generally do not comment on personnel matters.
Lupkas was initially hired by YNHH on Feb. 8, 2022, to "oversee investment strategy for the YNHH's nearly $6 billion in investment assets, including operating assets, defined pension funds, and endowment as well as special investment programs," according to a news release issued on that date.
Prior to joining YNHH Lupkas served as vice president-pension investments for Raytheon.
About six months after Lupkas' hiring at YNHH, on Aug, 9, 2022, Geeta Kapadia was named chief investment officer at Fordham University. Kapadia was formerly the associate treasurer for investments at YNHH.
A spokesperson for Fordham said that David Pearson and Mallika Nair also joined Fordham in September 2023. Pearson and Nair were also former YNHH employees, according to their LinkedIn profiles.
