Dieter Stohler, director of Swiss Federal Pension Fund PUBLICA, Bern, Switzerland, will leave the fund on Sept. 30, 2020, a spokeswoman said.
Mr. Stohler, who has been in the position since Jan. 1, 2012, has announced he will resign from the post and will consult in the pension fund industry. The pension fund is searching for a replacement, the fund said in a news release.
Since assuming the position of PUBLICA's director, Mr. Stohler has improved the fund in various areas and, "in cooperation with the fund commission, has set an important course for the future," the fund said in the news release.
PUBLICA had 38 billion Swiss francs ($38.6 billion) in assets as of Dec. 31.
