Tracy Sandoval was named CEO of the San Diego County Employees Retirement Association.
She will replace David Wescoe, who left the $12.9 billion pension fund on April 30 and joined the $28.7 billion Texas Municipal Retirement System, Austin, as executive director in July.
Ms. Sandoval, currently assistant chief administrative officer of San Diego County, will start the position on Nov. 20, said SDCERA spokeswoman Mary Ball in an email.
Stephen Sexauer, chief investment officer, is currently serving as interim CEO.
