RPMI Railpen, London, hired three executives to manage infrastructure, real estate and inflation-linked assets in an expansion of its real assets team, a spokesman for the £30 billion ($38.5 billion) fund said Wednesday.
Lewis Vanstone was named deputy portfolio manager. The role is new. Mr. Vanstone will focus on infrastructure investments. Mr. Vanstone formerly worked at Foresight Group as senior investment manager, where he specialized in energy infrastructure projects.
Julian Allport and Alena Antonava were named investment managers. Their roles are also new.
Ms. Antonava will also focus on investments in the infrastructure sectors. She worked at Arcus Infrastructure Partners as investment executive.
Mr. Allport will initially focus on long income real estate related investments. He worked at Aviva Investors as assistant fund manager.
"(All three) add a new dimension to the long-term income fund team's expertise, particularly in developing our in-house direct transaction capabilities," Anna Rule, head of real assets said in a news release.
