Seth A. Kelly was named chief investment officer of Pennsylvania State Employees’ Retirement System, Harrisburg, confirmed PennSERS spokesman Thomas Derr in an email.
He replaces Bryan Lewis, who left the $31.1 billion pension system in August.
James G. Nolan, who served as acting CIO, will resume his position as deputy CIO.
Mr. Kelly was CIO of the $8.2 billion Missouri State Employees’ Retirement System, Jefferson City. Mr. Kelly resigned in December and was replaced by Shannon Davidson, deputy CIO.
