David Felix, director of alternative investments at Pennsylvania State Employees' Retirement System, Harrisburg, has left the $35.1 billion pension fund.
Pamela Hile, a spokeswoman for the state pension plan, confirmed in an email that Mr. Felix's last day was July 14 but did not disclose where he went or who is assuming his responsibilities.
PennSERS returned a net 11.1% for the year ended Dec. 31, below its custom benchmark of 13.5%. Its allocation to private equity was 14.7% as of Dec. 31.
