Juan Camargo was named a managing director within the private markets risk management team at Ontario Municipal Employees’ Retirement System. The unit name was incorrect in an earlier version of this story that ran in P&I Daily on Aug. 4.
Juan Camargo was named a managing director within the private markets risk management team of the C$105 billion ($83.5 billion) Ontario Municipal Employees’ Retirement System, Toronto, confirmed spokesman Neil Hrab.
The position is new. Mr. Camargo joins the team that provides risk assessment, risk monitoring and other risk-related work on behalf of OMERS Private Equity and OMERS Infrastructure. He is based in New York and reports to Helen Rattee, managing director, private markets risk.
Mr. Camargo was a managing director at OMERS Infrastructure. A replacement has not yet been named.
